FUTURE AGRICULTURAL PROJECTS

1. Plantation on community land under NREGA scheme:

The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act aims at enhancing the livelihood security of people in rural areas by guaranteeing hundred days of wage-employment in a financial year to a rural household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work.

For the same, the proposal is under consideration for plantation of medicinal value and biofuel plants in selected 10 districts of Madhya Pradesh and Orissa under state ministry of Panchayatiraj.

2. Reaching an MOU for waste land allotment:

Signing a Memorandum of Understanding with MADHYA PRADESH STATE AGRO INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD is under the process for wasteland allotment policy of Govt. of Madhya Pradesh for 5000 hectares area. Under this program, Sun Agrifresh has proposed Jatropha curcas plantation for biodiesel production.

3. OVERSEAS PROJECTS:

Ethiopian Investment Cell: Sun Agrifresh has submitted a proposal under Ethiopian government Investment Cell to obtain 10000 hectares land for commercial cultivation of cash crops and plantation.
